Black River Landing is located one block East of Broadway in Downtown Lorain. Free parking is available in the Downtown Area and at the festival site during most events. Please bring a blanket or lawn chair to the events for your comfort!

Join us Friday and Saturday evenings for a romantic cruise on the Black River. Shuttle boats depart from the Jackalope Restaurant guest dock in Lorain Ohio Fridays and Saturdays at 6:00pm and 7:30pm.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance. Call the Black River Historical Society at (440) 245-2563 M-F 10am-4:30pm, or Sun 1-4:30pm.
We will depart from Riverside Park for regularly scheduled tours. During festivals, we'll depart from both Riverside Park and Black River Landing. Ticket holders should arrive 15 minutes early. Those who need to purchase tickets the day of, please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure to check availability. Cash and checks are accepted.

June 25-27 - Lorain International Festival at Black River Landing
Come Back to Lorain and visit with old friends, neighbors and coworkers. Celebrate the 44th annual Lorain International Festival and Bazaar and see what else Lorain has to offer. The Lorain Port Authority and the Lorain County Metroparks come together to offer a group kayak and canoe trip on the Black River. Put in at 9am and take a leisurely paddle on the Black River. Pull out at noon for a riverside picnic lunch at the beautiful Black River Wharf boat launch. After lunch return home or continue your day on the Black River. Black River Wharf is an official Ohio Water Trails Access Site. For more details and reservations call (440) 204-2273. Kayak rental will be available from Great Lakes Kayaking. Black River Nature Tours
Beginning June 23, 2010 - The Black River Landing Dock located near the International Flagpoles
The LORAIN PORT AUTHORITY in partnership with the LORAIN COUNTY METROPARKS announces the Black River Tours for the 2010 season.
Our shuttle boats embark Wednesdays and Thursdays in June, July and August at 6:30pm from the Black River Landing Dock. Lorain Port Authority staff and Lorain County MetroParks naturalists will provide information on wildlife, flora and fauna, and landmarks of interest during the cruises.
Friday and Saturday sunset cruises from the Jackalope guest dock will also be running from 6-8pm. No naturalist will be available.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure an on-time departure. Passengers must be at least 30 lbs to come on board.

The Lorain Port Authority presents Export Today! Export Today is a discussion of growing your business via exports. This month's forum will focus on government loan programs and export financing. Guest speakers will be Patrick Hayes, Regional Manager of the U.S. Small Business Administrations Export Solutions Group and Charlie Maier. Mr. Maier is from teh Ohio State's Treasurers Office and will present a path to more affordable business borrowing involving interest rate reductions. Summer 2010 - Black River Landing Dock
The Jet Express IV is slated to begin service from Black River Landing to the Lake Erie Islands May 29th, 2010. Tickets are:
- $26 for adults and $5 for children from Lorain to Kelleys Island one-way
- $29 for adults and $6 for children from Lorain to Put-In-Bay one-way
- $64 for adults and $14 for children round-trip island-hopping; free for children ages 5 and younger and additional fees apply for bicycle rentals

The Unsilencing of God Campaign

The Lorain Church of Christ presents the Unsilencing of God Campaign on Friday, June 11th and Saturday June 12th in downtown Lorain. Come to the Black River Landing to support young people from around the area, who are reading the Bible on the Black River Landing Stage for 24 straight hours.

Relay for Life is the signature event of the American Cancer Society. The theme this year is Holidays. There will be food, music, games and much, much more!
