The Lorain Port Authority is currently accepting bids for the construction of the Riverwalk and Pergola Project at Black River Landing. This project involves the extension of existing walkways 1,200 feet to the southern end of the site, along with construction of a pergola on the festival portion of the site to be used during special events for education and children's activities. This $156,500 project was funded in part through a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Coastal Management Program. The project will be completed for the summer season.
